Business Analyst - Investment banking - Treasury Experience - Derivatives IRD, FX, Fixed Income, bonds, equities, OTC
The candidate will be involved in a number of strategic initiatives across the business in order to help design and implement a new operating model. The Business Analyst will undertake gap analysis, requirements gathering and the writing of business requirements documents
Excellent communication skills will be of paramount importance as you will engage with senior stakeholders from front, middle and Back Office.
Strong Treasury experience is essential for this role.
Main Responsibilities
- Business Analyst process skills eg Agile, Scrum.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders ranging from senior leadership down to programme delivery teams.
- Working closely with the Development team to Knowledge Transfer business requirements, definition and execution of Acceptance Tests, review functional completeness of delivered code.
- Ability to solve complex business problems through the application of strong analytical skills. A working knowledge of structured analytical methods is desirable.
- Knowledge of how business design achieves success by working with and supporting other functions such as Business Management, Strategy, Technology architecture and delivery and Business change delivery.
- Solid experience of the Banking industry (Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth or Asset management) is essential.
Current experience
- Requires experience of working on complex integration projects within a major Investment Bank
- Solid, recent Treasury experience
- Experience of one or more of FX, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Commodities and especially Structure Product Derivatives
- Experience with EMIR, FATCA, MIFID, or Dodd Frank regulations desirable
Technical Skills
Any knowledge of Unix or SQL would be advantageous
