Internal Auditor - Senior

Panoramic Associates are supporting a leading company who are looking for a senior internal auditor to improve and add value to their Internal Audit team. Following the company's recent success they are searching for the next generation of audit professionals.

The role

• Reporting to one of our Internal Audit Managers, the successful applicant will part of the Audit and Assurance team, working with the broader business to provide assurance over the company's key risks and projects.
• This role requires development of robust and close working relationships across the Company and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Day to day duties and responsibilities may include; Leading or supporting the execution of operational and financial risk and control reviews from planning through to production of a final audit report with findings agreed by all levels of management up to and including Director level.
• Supporting business stakeholders with their identification, management and mitigation of their key risks through the design and development of efficient and effective controls.
• Supervising a team, ensuring adequate working papers and providing coaching where appropriate to support performance and individuals to deliver on their potential.
• Identifying and evaluating areas for potential improvement in processes and controls while ensuring that all work adds value to the business.

What skills are we looking for?

• To be considered for this role you will have to be qualified with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• The ideal candidate will have strong audit experience within external or internal audit, this is essential.
• The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and oral communication abilities and be able to thrive in a changing and varied environment through developing robust working relationships with staff at all levels.
• Any planning or project management experience will be highly beneficial as would a background within IT, Engineering or Manufacturing.
