Unix Administrator - Linux/Solaris Support Engineer - Cambridge

My client, a leading technology company in Cambridge, is looking to recruit an experienced Unix Support Engineer with specific experience of Linux and Solaris.

The role will involve:
- Providing support, in person and remote, to engineering teams throughout the defined region.
- Provide Unix administration support for the regional distributed Unix services. Those in this role have skills to develop solutions that will enhance tools and technology used by the employee base and the platforms that they rely upon.
- Support as an escalation route for the Unix helpdesk and assist, where required, in project work across the region.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, creating solutions and knowledge base for the infrastructure.
