Electrical Engineer - Days Based – FMCG Manufacturer

£32,000 + Pen + Excellent Benefits

My client a manufacturer of instantly recognisable products to the FMCG market place requires an experienced engineer to complement their engineering and projects team.
You will have experience within PLC programming in a team and autonomously including experience of SCADA systems ideally within the development of automated machinery within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of ONC level in a relevant engineering discipline with the ability to bring new ideas to improve machinery reliability, reduce costs and ultimately increase manufacturing output. You will also have experience within a Lean environment with a hands on background within continuous improvement activities.
The role will also involve the maintenance and the installation of new equipment in line with the overall strategic direction of the sites engineering and manufacturing functions with a focus on Lean Manufacturing techniques.
