Fabrication Administrator (49611)

Position based in Nantgarw, South Wales.

Job purpose: To provide administration support for the fabrication facility by ensuring all relevant administration is completed in a timely fashion. This ensures good operations of the facility. Also to provide ad hoc administration support for the manager.

  • Prepare reports;
  • Complete administration tasks to ensure compliance;
  • Ensure that all messages are passed onto the relevant supervisors / manager;
  • Accurately process purchase orders.
  • Ensure the accurate inputting of payroll;
  • Take effective notes, minutes of meetings etc; 
  • Ensure safety paperwork is up to date;
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Deal proficiently with any queries to find a suitable resolution.
  • Follow all relevant Veolia administration processes.
  • Assist manager with preparation of monthly accounts reporting.
  • BMS
  • General Administration duties.

Skills/requirements:

  • Basic schooling is required, preferably with qualifications (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Practical verbal and numerical skills are important.
  • Administration / clerical experience is required.
  • Good interpersonal skills- the ability to deal with members of the public.
  • Microsoft Office IT skills including Word and Excel.
  • Experience of some other system use i.e. mims,wims,sage and various other
  • software packages.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Good time management skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Experience of a similar role in an industrial environment essential
