Civils Working Foreman

JFW CONSTRUCTION LTD have an exciting opportunity for a Civils Working Foreman to join our team based in Wirral. Working on a Permanent, Full Time basis, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary circa £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on experience.

Our, North-West based, Civil Construction Company requires an experienced Civils Working Foreman to work in the Wirral area, due to securing new contracts.

As our Civils Working Foreman you will be working within a busy construction team, supervising a team of ground workers, as well as carrying out groundwork duties yourself:

- Reading and translating drawings and specifications.

- Organising workforce and operatives on site, including site inductions

- Be fully conversant with Health and Safety in the workplace.

- Managing staff worksheets, work and material records.

- Plant checks records and certificates.

- Liaising and managing relationships between engineers, site agents and operatives on site.

- Coordinating jobs with other subcontractors on site.

You must have a proven track record working on groundwork projects, and must have supervising experience.  You must also be dynamic and self-organising, pro-active with a positive attitude.

Civils Working Foreman Requirements:

- Valid CSCS card

- CPCS Plant – Preferable

- Transport & Driving licence  

- SSSTS or SMSTS - Advantage

- First Aid at Work – Advantage
