CAD Support Engineer - Analog/Mixed Signal IC - Portugal

Our client is a successful Semiconductor design company that develops pioneering Integrated Circuits for some of the world's leading technology companies. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a CAD Support Engineer to join their design centre in Lisbon supporting CAD activities for the Analog/Mixed Signal and RF IC design teams.

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent), the successful applicant will have established experience in a similar role. Experience is required in some or all of the following;

*Cadence Custom IC Design Environment (Virtuoso, ADE L, XL).
*Layout verification (Calibre, Assura, PVS).
*Parasitic extraction (RCX/QRC).
*Ability to understand and modify Calibre, PVS, Assura runsets.
*Knowledge of Skill, Python, C shell.
*Knowledge of Spectre, Ocean, Verilog and AMS Design Environment.

Experience is desired in some or all of the following; CMOS Analog and/or Digital circuit design, Taping out GDS2 into foundries, PDK development (including PCell development), EDI, Primetime, Subversion and/or Grid Engine.

Excellent communication skills are required along with strong problem solving skills. Some short term travel will be occasionally required and visas will be considered for the right applicant.
