Salary up to £27,000 - £32,000 p.a.

The .Net Developer / .Net Programmer Opportunity:

Reporting to the UK IT Manager the main function of the the role will be to develop, write, document, test and support various programs and program modifications for a variety of systems and processes.

.Net Developer / .Net Programmer Main Duties & Responsibilities:

> Programming, documenting, implementing and supporting program modifications concerning logistics, financial and sales processes.
> Prepare requirements documentation, technical specifications and program specifications for agreed developments.
> Writing (and amending) of computer programs.
> Work closely with the UK IT Manager to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
> Communicate to other staff both within the IT team and elsewhere with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.
> Engage in outside-the-box-thinking to provide high-value--service to internal clients.
> Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the systems to ensure that the desired results are produced.
> Provide necessary user and operating documentation.
> Maintain and update or amend company websites.
> Take ownership of user problems and be pro-active when dealing with user issues.

Tools and equipment used:

> MS Office, VB6, .NET, C#, Javascript, SQL and MVC framework.
> Software systems (Manhattan, CogiWide, ServerImport, Seaship, SeaBillity, etc)

Qualification / Education required:

BSc in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience

Necessary experience:

Development experience using VB6, .NET, C#, Javascript and SQL. MVC frameworks experience also desirable.

You may have worked in the following capacities:
.Net Software Developer, VB6 / C# Developer, .Net Software Engineer.
