You already have experience of minor building maintenance and repair. Now you’re looking for a new role with more variety, scope and opportunities for career progression. Then join our team here at Aspire Academy, and help us ensure a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors alike.

As part of the growing Fylde Coast Academy Trust, which currently manages three Academies in the local area, we can offer the very real chance of promotion as you develop your future with us. Our team is also moving to a brand new facility with state-of-the-art technology next year. That means you’ll enjoy significant training as you build the skills you need to run our advanced Building Management Systems.

The role itself will see you deliver a high-quality caretaking service across the Academy. That will include managing security, checking heating and lighting systems, overseeing maintenance contractors and arranging emergency repairs, as well as carrying out minor repairs of the buildings and site.

Excellent problem solving and communication skills are important, together with a self-motivated approach and the ability to manage your own daily workload. You should also bring a ‘right first time’ approach, plus a real commitment to delivering the very highest quality standards.
