Area Landfill Gas Manager

We now have a vacancy for an Area Landfill Gas Manager in our Northern Area. The candidate will be required to cover sites mainly in the North West of England.

Candidates should have
Extensive experience in Landfill Gas management and be aware of the latest processes and Industry Codes of Practice including hot spot management and migration and emission control
• Knowledge of Rungas and flow based gas management
• The ability to review data and instruct and give advice to site staff on gas strategy and adjustments
• The ability to demonstrate knowledge of gas system design and installations and oversee and if necessary carry out on site works
• The capacity to draw up and oversee CQA plans for submission to the EA on drilling and gas system works
• Experience of carrying out Landfill gas audits and producing reports with details of actions or changes required
• The capacity to pass on knowledge and take part in and help develop training programs for site staff
• The flexibility to advise site staff in event of gas system breakdown / failures of extraction

Salary range £33,000 to £35,280 + Company Vehicle & Excellent Benefits
