Associate Occupational Therapists – Paediatric and Adult

Leeds OT are a growing, private occupational therapy company specialising in providing rehabilitation services to private individuals on behalf of the NHS, case managers, solicitors and families. We are looking to recruit a number of Associate Paediatric Therapists and Associate Adult Therapists with a passion for working with children and/or adults with physical or developmental conditions.

This vacancy would be perfect for an experienced Occupational Therapist who wishes to work adhoc/part-time hours to fit around their other commitments. Working hours are very flexible and are designed to work around you. Successful candidates will have a varied role providing assessment, rehabilitation and reports for a range of children and/or adults with physical and developmental conditions. Support and training will be provided.

We are looking for Occupational Therapists who:

Have a degree in BSc Occupational Therapy

Hold BAOT registration and HCPC registration

Have at least 2 years’ experience in Occupational Therapy

Are passionate about treating paediatrics and/ or adults and able to realise the potential of their patients

Are experienced in community, in-patient and clinic settings

Are able to work well independently as part of a team

Are able to manage patients with broad needs. This may include; physical, cognitive and behavioural difficulties

Have a clear understanding of the BAOT professional code of conduct and relevant professional guidelines

The successful candidate will:

Have excellent interpersonal skills

Be able to work independently

Have excellent organisation and IT skills

Have excellent organisational and time management skills

Be able to carry out minimal to moderate physical activity throughout the working day

Have excellent communication skills.

Have excellent report writing skills

Hold a full driving license and have their own vehicle
