Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Merchandiser/Stock Planner on a 12 month contract to support their extremely successful and expanding business
Duties:
- Plan, control and maintain stock levels of your designated product range, to meet the needs of the business, minimising stock levels whilst maximising sales.
- Match supply and demand to achieve on time in full replenishment to their customers whilst managing the exit and stock holding of redundant stock lines.
- Analyse and implement forward forecasts using established processes and forecast techniques and place orders.
- Place purchase orders with Suppliers
- Weekly check of shipment schedules and update system
- Create internal reports on stock availability.
- Liaise with warehouse on various enquiries and updates
- Create design specification forms and attend production meetings for launch of your designated designs.
- Liaison with customers
- Resolve queries
- General ad hoc administrative duties.
Person/Experience
- Excellent advanced Excel skills
- High level analytical skills
- Great communicator and team player
- Knowledge of textiles, JD Edwards software or another ERP system an advantage.
