Personal Care Assistant

The Role
As a Personal Care Assistant you will be working within the community in the clients own home. You will usually be working one to one providing all aspects of care. You will see a number of clients throughout the day and you will generally assist them with:
- Personal Care - washing, dressing, toileting and medication.
- Domestic Support - cooking, laundry, vacuuming, polishing and any tasks they may need doing around the home to help support independent living.
- Emotional Care - offer emotional support and companionship.
- Social Outings Support - taking to and from doctors/hospital appointments as well as any activities they have planned.
Requirements
Previous experience and qualifications with care are preferred but by no means are they essential, as long as you are polite, able to communicate well and have the desire to learn we are eager to hear from you. The hours we are looking for on a contract basis are:
- 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- 4 p.m. - 11 p.m.
- 10 p.m. - 7 a.m.
