Warehouse Manager

Job Elements / The ideal candidate will have: -

• Lead a team to ensure materials are received, despatched, stocked and provided to the correct production point at the required time, in the required quantity to meet agreed production plans, costs and inventory targets.
• Continuously improve operating costs, utilisation, data accuracy and throughput times.
• Set and manage stores procedures to ensure zero stoppages in production.
• Manage stock record system.
• Manage the despatches of finished goods.
• Assigning workloads to warehouse staff and monitoring of performance to expectations
• Development of department KPI’s with evidence of implementation and improvement plans
• Total resource management – people & equipment
• Maintenance of all staff records – training records, holiday management etc.
• Establish departmental training needs and source training
• Conduct midyear reviews of annual appraisal goals & objectives
• Develop and maintain good housekeeping standards
