Electronics Design Engineer

Job Elements: -

• Design and develop electronic subsystems and modules to customer requirements and specifications.
• Work alongside senior engineers and within multi-disciplined teams, designing miniaturized electronic modules
• Design disciplines to include wireless communications, energy harvesting and autonomous sensors and ARM core processor technologies.
• To interpret customer requirements and translate into specifications.
• To design and develop electronic circuits to meet agreed specifications.
• To agree validation regimes and component specifications with design engineers/procurement team.
• To develop test equipment in line with the above requirements.
• To identify continuous improvement opportunities and design for cost.
• To troubleshoot on new designs to component level.

The ideal candidate will have: -

• Ideally up to 5 years relevant experience, but flexible for the right candidate
• Qualified to BSc/MSc level in an Electronics Engineering related discipline
• Experience of the following software tools is desirable: - Lab view, Cadence and Ansys. Again, flexibility on this for strong candidates.
