A Key Sales Account Manager/Graduate Trainee is required to join one of the leading branded housewares producers in the world, with their own manufacturing facilities and offices in the UK and Germany and offices in the USA, China, France. They are building for the future, and are now seeking to strengthen their team with the recruitment of an established Key Account Manager or a fast learning trainee who wishes to develop a career in FMCG sales.

They are a family business with long term outlook and provides an excellent working environment. They have a strong pipeline of fantastic new products developed in house and are the brand and / or market leader in most sectors in which they operate.

They already supply many of the household name retailers worldwide and are based near Manchester.

Due to business expansion they are looking to recruit ambitious and energetic people who are already either working in sales or wish to move into Sales. A full training programme will be given for the correct candidate who will be assigned an experienced mentor to ensure rapid progress and development.

This is a fast paced environment supplying a fantastic range of products and provides excitement, challenge, and a real opportunity to achieve and make a difference to the overall business. Very rapidly you will be given a portfolio of existing national name accounts together with new accounts to be targeted and developed.

This exciting role is seen as key within their business and a career development path exists to rapidly develop into other senior Sales and Marketing roles within the business.

Progression to National Account Manager is expected quickly for applicants who show enthusiasm, motivation, tenacity and most importantly achieve results.

- Ideally educated to good degree level with a solid educational background.
- Successful candidates need to be personable, ambitious and hardworking.
- Naturally a team player but also enthusiastic and a self starters.
- Excellent communication skills are key and you must be a good team player.
- The ideal candidate will be someone that enjoys a fast paced environment and enjoys success of winning sales.
- Key to the role is an ability to provide support and service to customers and an understanding that success derives from a strong partnership.
