Our client, based in Wantage is seeking a payroll administrator to join their team.
Duties include:
· Receipt and collation of employee time-sheets
· Processing of weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly and monthly payroll on SAGE Payroll software
· Checking new starter documentation and supplying new starter packs
· Budget analysis to ensure labour costs remain within agreed levels
· Assuming sole responsibility for running the weekly payroll in the absence of the Payroll Manager for periods of sickness or annual leave
· Maternity, paternity, adoption and SSP processing
· Pension payments
· Deductions from salary including CSA and attachment of earnings
· Fuel reimbursement
· Processing leavers including P45’s
· Calculation of annual leave
· End of year processing including P11D’s
· HMRC compliance including P60’s, P9’s and real time information
Hours of work are 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday but flexibility is required for busy periods.
We are looking for someone who is thorough, organised and with excellent attention to detail. They should be calm under pressure, confident, friendly and professional. They should be flexible and keen to help out at all times, wherever needed.
