Collections Advisor - Call Centre

Collections Advisors are sought to join this company's call centre in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, to communicate with customers and find a suitable way to clear their overdue accounts. The organisation is an established debt purchaser who focuses on commercial and consumer accounts.

They are now looking for Collections Advisors with a confident phone manner, who can manage potentially difficult or challenging situations from customers.

TITLE: Collections Advisors
LOCATION: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
SALARY: up to £19k per annum basic (dependent on experience), plus uncapped bonus
BENEFITS: Monthly prize incentive and free parking
INFO: Full and part-time positions available, part time hours 5pm - 8pm Monday to Thursday, every second Saturday 9am - 4pm. Full time hours are on a shift pattern working 40 hours a week

The ideal Collections Advisor will possess:
- Previous experience of call handling to a high standard, in a call centre environment or similar
- The ability to remain calm when under pressure
- Collections experience; preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills

To succeed in this job role as a Collections Advisor you will be expected to:
- Treat all customers and colleagues in a fair and appropriate manner
- Negotiate full balances, settlements and payment plans in accordance to the customer's individual situation
- Competently use the clients' in-house collections system
- Be organised and efficient
- Undergo a CRB check
