Field Service Engineer
On-Target-Earnings: GBP50,000 pa
Basic Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP37,000pa + Overtime, Car, Pension & Private Healthcare
Candidates must have previous Food Industry experience and should hold Gas Safe certification
The Company
A leading manufacturer of industrial ovens and cookers for the Food Manufacturing industry. This established business recently became part of a global food machinery business, offering a wide range of process, manufacturing and packaging systems across every sector of the food industry.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager and predominately covering the central England region, the appointed Field Service Engineer will support project teams with the installation and commissioning of systems and ensure customers receive exceptional aftersales service cover.
This will include Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical fault finding, machinery trouble shooting, the modification of installed equipment, delivering routine maintenance and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner.
The Field Service Engineer with also be required to liaise with customers at all levels of their business and communicate effectively with Head Office relating to engineering parts, repair costs and maintenance schedules.
The Person
Candidates must be Gas Safe certified and hold recognised certification such as CCN1. They will be mechanically biased with a minimum of basic electrical skills and previous experience working on similar machinery within a relevant food, chemical, paper or FMCG sector.
Due to travel commitments this position will be suited to someone living within any of the following counties: West Midlands, Midlands, East Midlands, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire.
