With training/development your be familiar with firearms, but your most important piece of knowledge is this: when it comes to security and emergency response, it's what's in your head, not your hands, that really makes the difference. Which is why you might have what it takes to keep MOD sensitive sites including Naval bases and - and the vessels that use them - safe from waterborne crime and disorder.

Joining our team, you'll provide specialist protective policing using marine launches and rigged hulled inflatable boats. You'll arm yourself with stamina, vigilance and resilience. We will expect you to preserve waterfront integrity; maintain the security and safety of vessels in transit; control access, and deter, detect and disrupt armed attack. So it's vital you are focused and ready to deal with all kinds of situations, in a flexible, responsive and level headed way.

Full operational capability is crucial. You are tactically minded, firearms trained and able to carry out officer safety training. But just as important as your technical skills is your way with people and commitment to customers.
