Residential Support Worker

Lavoro Care is recruiting experienced support workers for both Children's EBD services and Children's Autism and Learning Disability services.

Are you looking for an agency who can provide you with full time work and potentially career progression with some of the UK's largest residential childcare providers?

Candidates will have a proven track record in this sector  (minimum 6 months care experience) and be available over days/nights/ weekends on a rota basis. In return we can guarantee work on a flexible basis and give the opportunity to develop your career with some of the largest residential care providers in the UK.

Initially work will commence on an agency basis, however, permanent jobs are available for the candidates who exceed expectations with my client's.

Candidates will be supporting young people in residential care who may have emotional and behavioural issues as well as those who display Autism and or L/D. Candidates will be involved in various educational and outreach activities.

Candidates with QCF (or equivalent) Level 3 in Children and Young People will have a distinct advantage. Due to the nature of the role drivers with their own transport are preferred.

Please note, candidates must be a minimum of 21 years old to comply with Ofsted requirements.

We have permanent contracts with our care providers and also agency work available. We also support candidates through continuous personal development with the free training courses we have available.

We can offer full and part time hours and also day and night shifts. We would also be very interested in hearing from candidates who are looking for weekend only care work.  There will also be opportunities for candidates to undertake a QCF/NVQ in Health and Social Care.

We offer competitive rates of pay and all workers will be paid weekly.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo full safer employment checks including an enhanced DBS check. An enhanced DBS certificate costs £44.00 and the cost will be met by the applicant.  We also accept portable enhanced DBS checks.

  As soon as pre employment checks and training are complete, immediate work is available.
