LOCATION: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
JOB TITLE: Clinical Care Manager
SALARY & BENEFITS: c37,000 package
WORKING HOURS: Full Time, Monday - Friday ( flexible according to other duties )
THE COMPANY: Our client is a Nationwide Charitable Organisation operating a portfolio of nine high quality care homes located throughout England, they provide the highest standards of care for the discerning individual.
This particular residence is a 65 bed care home offering nursing care to 30 residents who have complex medical needs and personal care to 35 people some of whom are quite independent. It is a very busy purpose built home offering an exceptionally high quality of surroundings and care and thus its reputation in the wider Yorkshire area is excellent.
THE ROLE: A new Clinical Care Manager is to be appointed who will be responsible for the leadership of care and management of all care staff across residential and nursing units.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage the care team through 3 unit managers
Maintain clinical standards
Ensure person-centred care for all residents, including those having respite and end-of-life care
*Please note this is not an extensive list of your potential day to day duties*
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a keen interest in developing and delivering training and will be keen to lead developments that continually benefit the health and welfare of the residents.
Key skills and experience:-
Must be RGN with current pin
It is essential that you have worked/working at sister or charge nurse level in either acute medical care or care for older people
You must be fully up to date in clinical practice and be keen to maintain high standards amongst your team
