Our client a national well established high quality care provider is now seeking an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager to develop this exciting and very busy branch to the next level based in Cardiff.

You will continue to build this already successful business, continue developing the excellent relationships already established with care managers, GP services and other associated agencies, recruit carers, ensure high quality care is delivered, monitor and mentor care staff, oversee the planning of care staff rota's, be well organised, have good IT skills, manage and support care staff. You will liaise with families, colleagues, staff, care managers, GP services, attend meetings and have excellent business acumen. This role will be a busy, varied challenging role. You will need to be a car owner/driver and have good local knowledge of Cardiff and Newport.

This business is well established and you will be enjoy the benefits for working with an excellent focused and hard working team within the office, consisting of experienced coordinators, admin staff and senior carers who operate a well managed on call service for the branch which cover Cardiff and Newport and surrounding areas.

As the Branch manager you will of course need to have excellent knowledge of the required regulations and care standards and be fully compliant. You will need to have experience with all safeguarding procedures and have experience with inspections.

This is a challenging, demanding role where every day will be different, you will find this role highly rewarding and fulfilling but flexibility will be needed as this is a role working with vulnerable people. Good business acumen, strong management skills and a confident approach to business, KPI's, working to budgets and have a positive, professional attitude will also be necessary.

You will need excellent communication skills, have a genuine passion for delivering high quality care, be an approachable, supportive and encouraging manager.

Ideally you will have already achieved an RMA, NVQ 4 or 5 or equivalent qualification.
