Damia's client has an urgent contract need for a Testing Team Lead to work in their Automation Systems Group.
This role requires at least 5 years previous OIL & GAS industry experience gained either with a major Control Systems Vendor/Manufacturer OR with an O&G EPC contractor
Previous HONEYWELL SYSTEMS experience is ESSENTIAL
Job detail as follows:
The Testing Team Lead will report to the Testing and Commissioning Manager and is responsible for
Lead 3rd party vendor testing efforts which includes:
*Participate in controls interface meetings for each package to determine the controls interfaces to the package and design information to be validated.
*Using the information from the Controls Interface meeting, red line vendor's controls FAT procedure to include testing MAC testing procedure.
*Review the red-lined FAT procedure with the customer for approval.
*Coordinate with the MAC Execution team to develop drawings showing the installation of the test kit onto the vendor's equipment.
*Meet with the vendors at their facilities to review the test process.
*Prepare the EPKS Hardware and Software for PCS, FGS, SIS and PECS on the MAC supplied test kit to support the vendor test.
*Coordinate with MAC Logistics to ship the test kit to the vendor's facility.
*Identify the additional MAC man-power required (if any) to execute test procedure.
*Direct vendor personnel in the installation of the test kit onto the vendor's equipment.
*Direct MAC personnel in the execution of the test. Coordinate with the vendor during test execution.
*Collect test data and document deviations from the initial control system configuration required to complete the test.
*Prepare a test report documenting the test and it's results.
*Coordinate with the vendor to prepare the test kit for shipment back to MAC facility.
*Review the test report with the MAC Execution team and the customer to highlight configuration changes indicated by the test results.
