Our client is one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the North West of England with over 7,000 students and a turnover of £24m.

They are seeking to appoint a Chef Assessor to work within Colours fine dining restaurant. You will be a highly organised person with excellent kitchen management skills, who thrives on achieving consistently high standards whilst also demonstrating financial acumen, flair and creativity in preparing quality meals. A flexible approach to work is also essential as you will be required to work evenings & weekends.

You will also be involved with assisting the catering tutors with the training of students. This presents an exciting challenge for a self-motivated individual, capable of sharing their knowledge and experience with the next generation of catering professionals.

The successful candidate must have:

An NVQ level 2/3 in a relevant subject or City & Guilds 706/2 and 706/3.
A Food Hygiene qualification.
A minimum 5 years’ experience of supervising with a fine dining kitchen.
An in-depth background in the Catering industry.
