Role
My client is a Global Asset Management company seeking a Funds Service Analyst to join their Funds Service Group within the company. The team provides day-to-day oversight of new launch & fund change activity for EMEA domiciled funds, focusing on the resolution of internal portfolio issues.
Responsibilities
- Act as internal administrative owners' of the funds. Co-ordinate resolution of fund-related issues.
- Work closely with Product Development (and other areas) on fund launches, mergers and closures, ensuring that internal systems are updated appropriately.
- Own and coordinate amendments to guidelines/benchmark/fund name/portfolio manager changes, additional share classes etc.
- Ensure that guidelines are coded correctly for compliance monitoring purposes.
- Notify data vendors of new launch & fund change activity.
- Be attentive to internal and external client needs, build personal and professional relationships to provide them with up-to-date information; identify, anticipate and meet their evolving requirements.
- Work with the team manager to streamline processes and improve service levels.
Key Skills
- Preferably 3-4 years' experience in asset management/fund industry.
- Possess good commercial awareness and understanding of the industry.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Application skills.
