An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Home Care Assistant based in Dursley to join a domiciliary provider providing carers into the community. Full and part time roles are available.
As a Home Care Assistants your duties will include:
• Personal care.
• Meal preparation.
• Assisting with medication.
An ideal Home Care Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:
• Enhanced DBS and reference checks required.
• Must have weekend and evening availability and the drive to meet their high standards of care.
• Experience preferred but not necessary, as full training provided.
• A caring and respectful nature
• A full UK Driving Licence and your own transport.
• Previous experience within a similar role is ideal but not essential as full training will be given.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, able to express yourself clearly and understand and interpret accurately.
• Good organisation and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work on their own with occasional supervision.
• DBS cleared with an honest and trustworthy character.
In return you will receive a salary of £7.50 - £10.35 per hour plus 35 pence a mile weekly pay.
