Title: Account Manager
Reports to: Account Director
The Role
We are looking for a passionate PPC professional to join the team as an Account Manager, reporting into an Account Director. You will relish the opportunity to take ownership and enjoy driving a team to hit your client's performance targets.
The key outcomes for the role of Account Manager are:
- Campaign performance is delivered according to campaign strategy
- Campaigns deliver against the account strategy
- Team activities are well defined, responsibilities clearly understood and delivery is on time and to quality
- Opportunities for improvements in campaign and team performance are regularly assessed
- Campaign budgets are optimally managed
Clients receive a professional service, delivered by a passionate, engaged and informed client team:
- Client perceives the Account Manager as the owning the day-to-day management of the account and relationship
- Team has strong rapport with client team members
- Team members are knowledgeable about their client's vertical and wider marketing channels, and are experts in paid search
- All communications, whether written or verbal, are clear, concise and professional
Team members career progression is inline or ahead of expectation
- Team members attain the expected competence required for promotion
- Team members have a clear understanding of the expectations of them, their objectives and the areas for development
- Team members are mentored/feel supported in the development of their skills and experience/in their career
- Team test and innovate, creating new case studies, blogs and awards submissions
Qualifications/skills
- Agency side experience as a PPC Account Manager
- Excellent team management and organisational skills
- A thorough understanding of Google and Bing's search marketing platforms and related technologies
- Understanding of client side analytics packages such as Google Analytics
- Excellent account management and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with data to drive insights and recommendations
