Accountant, Financial Services/Insurance, Ipswich
Accountant role for FTSE 100 financial services company based in Ipswich. This is an initial 3 month contract paying between GBP200-250.
Applicants for this Accountant role should have a good understanding of IFRS based reporting, UKGAAP and have proficient knowledge of the Insurance and Finance/Financial industry.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the testing of Solvency II controls and plan and undertake operational effectiveness of testing.
Key Skills/Experience
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, FCA etc)
- Strong Excel skills
- Good analytical skills
- Financial Services and/or Insurance experience
- Good stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Good understanding of audit methodologies
- Understanding of Solvency II
