IT Project Coordinator

In this pivotal role, you work with our education client's project team to deliver software development projects from the initial concept to the fulfilment. Using scheduling and control tools, you will monitor and coordinate the necessary actions and activities for a plethora of projects. With a proactive approach to work, you will track the progress and quality of work undertaken by the team and communicate timescales and updates to the key stakeholders. You will have great attention to detail and will ensure that any changes to the project or issues encountered are documented and recorded. With experience of delivering software projects, you will demonstrate your knowledge of using a RAID log to track the progression and any impacts to the project. You will participate in weekly review meetings to share updates with the team and discuss ongoing developments. You will ensure that the Quality Governance Process is followed and that evidence is available for both internal and external auditors.

They are looking for an individual with demonstrable experience of supporting Project Managers in the delivery of software projects. You will have a familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies and be accustomed to using the models when developing the projects. You will adept at managing changing priorities and juggling various projects at any one time. You will have experience of using MS Project and MS Office products and will be able to organise your time effectively. Working to tight deadlines, you will have proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
