The Volunteer Development Officer will be responsible for recruitment, training and development of volunteers within Knowsley Citizens Advice Bureau.
Knowsley Citizens Advice Bureau operates out of 3 main advice sites in Kirkby, Huyton and Halewood in addition to providing services at other community venues.
We are looking to develop our existing volunteer workforce providing front line advice to the residents of Knowsley and also providing support roles including administration, IT publicity and social policy work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for development of the Bureau volunteer strategy and will focus on the training of new volunteers in all aspects of work undertaken by the Bureau.
Funded initially for 2 years, the successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within a similar role, preferably within the voluntary and community sector.
