Field manager - FMCG Grocery

Full time permanent role

Starting salary: - GBP32,232 plus bonus, company car and benefits

What is the role?

Working for CPM and our client, the BDM will be expected to lead a sales team in selling innovative brands and improving visibility and rate of sale of brands through off shelf display, point of sale, and implementation of category management principles.

The role involves the management of team and there will be a requirement to travel outside of territory to attend team meetings. Therefore the BDM should expect to stay away from home min of quarterly as required.

Who are we looking for?

  • Exceptional individuals who are passionate about developing a sales team to their full potential
  • Proven capability of managing a team to deliver to targets across a broad range of measures
  • Previous experience of managing a field sales team, ideally within FMCG
  • IT literate with good presentation skills
  • Proven capability in managing development of employees, preferably some evidence of working through Performance Management/underperforming individual. Adept at managing and resolving conflict - constantly seeks 'win win' outcomes
  • Proven skill at managing relationships across a multitude of individuals, organisations and levels. Including demonstration of influencing upwards
