Key Accountabilities
Impact on the Business
- To conduct review and assessment work as required, producing written outputs to a high standard suitable for receipt and understanding by all key participants and stakeholders, including senior sponsors. Reviews should be independent, objective and frank. They should produce useful and appropriate recommendations.
- These assessments and reviews conform to a range of models including (i) identification of risk, (ii) post implementation review, (iii) support for PMs in initiating new projects, (iv) bespoke assessments according to specific senior management requirements.
- Recommendations, where they are deemed appropriate for tracking, will be monitored and updated over time and tracked to closure.
- Provision of mentoring and support to Project Managers.
- Provision of consultancy and general analysis of issues affecting project management.
- Portfolio vigilance, providing recurrent briefings for portfolio managers
Major Challenges
- To produce meaningful recommendations that are practicable and that win support from senior sponsors; not simply to state perfect outcomes regardless of the practicalities or cost.
Knowledge & Experience
