We are currently working with an Educational establishment that caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (SEBD) who looking for a talented teacher (UK QTS or NVQ) to join their experienced team and work within their Secondary/FE team.

The Job

The role is ideal for those with SEN experience or teachers who are looking for a challenging role. Initially the position is temporary; however, the right candidate will have fantastic opportunities for long term work and the potential of a permanent position.

The School
The school is well led and managed, specialising in supporting learners who have various difficulties including autistic spectrum disorder and moderate or severe learning difficulties. They apply a holistic approach to learning, and work closely with outside agencies to enable all children and young people with special educational needs to access the curriculum.

The Child
You will become part of a supportive team of people who aim towards the best possible educational experience for their students. You will be teaching small groups of children with the support of TA's, LSAs and RCWs. The role will also involve liaising with parents, social workers and other agencies on the progress of the children.

The ideal candidate will be/ have:

-Good classroom management
-Experience of challenging behavior
-Team Teach training or similar would be advantageous
-Positive and flexible approach
