A new and exciting position has arisen at Boeing UK for a Fusion Middleware SOA Suite/OSB/Java Developer. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, testing, and implementation of a complex integration solution. The integration solution is part of a large transformation programme with the Ministry of Defence to migrate multiple legacy application point to point communication to a SOA based modern solution. An ideal candidate will have the opportunity to bring previous experience to influence designs, processes, and technologies within a growing development team.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
•Execute technical tasks within the integrated project schedule
•Design, code, unit test and document the solution
•Assist test team in integration testing
•Assist implementation team in go live planning and support
•Ability to do hands-on work, not just design.
Qualifications and Experience:
•Logistic systems (Inventory and Warehouse Management)
•Integrating legacy and COTS applications; Jdeveloper, Eclipse, Weblogic and Jboss;
•Implementing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solution using Oracle Fusion Middleware 11
•Ideal candidate has experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Spring Framework, CXF, Hibernate, Web Services, XML, JUNIT, Linux, J2EE web service development, and familiarity with inner workings of the MOD supply chain process.
