The Company:
Our client is a well established International manufacturer in the Automotive Industry (plastic components)
The Role:
To be responsible for managing the design and the definition of production methods
Main duties:
- To work closely with project management and manufacturing teams
- To be responsible for monitoring the engineering schedules
- To build up and maintain all technical documentation
- To participate in the selection and in the relationship build of suppliers
- To mentor less experienced members of the team
- To be responsible of constant improvement of the current production processes
The Candidate:
- Fluent in English and in French (Written & Spoken)
- Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electronic, Automotive) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
- FMEA and automotive experience is essential
- Ideally working experience in a similar role for a Tier 1 or 2 supplier
- Autonomous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate
