Job description
Complete audit checks and collate findings for review with the operations team.
Capture quality data and communicate accordingly.
Ensuring all quality concerns are raised and corrective action along with root cause put in place.
Complete product inspections as required on identified components.
Assist in the management of contract manufactures and key suppliers by clearly communicate quality objectives and requirements.
To promote, complete and assist with risk assessments.
Support operations team in completing supplier audits as required.
Collate data to meet performance standards aligned to key performance indicators.
Measure and monitor performance standards and take corrective action where there is a variance internally and externally in all business systems including quality, environmental and health and safety.
Ensure that the performance of the quality, environmental and health and safety management system is measured and analysed and in collaboration with the Business Systems Manager, set and clearly communicate compliance and make suggestions in regard to continues improvement.
Update visual controls and keep them up to date.
Monitor daily, weekly or monthly performances and take corrective action where there is a variance.
Follow all procedures, processes and documentation is in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.
Ensure that any non:conformance is resolved in a timely manner.
Be constantly trying to improve processes and products by sponsoring a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
A typical Quality and Business System Support Technician should be able to demonstrate the skills required to work within this discipline. Experience of quality systems and how they work, along with a passion to support environmental changes and create a health and safety environment are a prerequisite.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills shown in a role similar to this.
Good record keeping skills.
Logical, methodical approach to work and well organised to follow processes and procedures.
Ability to question to seek answers and follow through to complete tasks.
The individual needs a technical qualification in electronics and a proven background in auditing.
Ongoing training will be available to increase and maintain knowledge levels.
