Description

This position is for a configuration analyst that will be responsible for:

• Creating business policy rules around risk and underwriting for use within the Consumer Risk Transformation (CRT) system using a defined and systematic approach
• Develop a testing process of the business policy rules within the CRT system - project to commence early
• Ensure compliance with governance standards
• Implement business/policy rules into CRT
• Monitor and maintain the business/policy rules for accuracy and expected performance - this is an on-going function and will be continued post project go-live
• Document all work for audit purposes and ensure that it is accurate, and compliant
• Have an understanding of underwriting and business rules engines
• System will be implemented and rolled out initially in the UK, then to other international regions

Profile

The successful configuration analyst will have the following attributes:

• Experienced with analysing, design and development of a business rules engine (FICO Blaze Adviser or similar)
• Ability to plan and organize workload to achieve desired priorities and objectives
• Ability to work with an Operational team to understand rules requirements and to translate into an appropriate rules format
• Knowledge of or work experience with a business analytics tool such as SAS or similar for validating development work
• Ability to make quality decisions to develop solutions that will achieve the desired results
• Fluency and proficiency in English required. Additional foreign languages would be beneficial for developing this multi country system.
• College Degree Required
