We have a great opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking home manager to join a nationwide company that has the aim of being the kindest care provider there can be. We are looking for strong, passionate candidates to come and take on a leadership role that will affect the lives of people in care in the greatest possible way.
Main Purpose
To manage all aspects of the Home's operations, ensuring high standards of individual care to all residents. To provide support and leadership to all the staff, engendering a culture of focusing on the individual and offering high standards of service. To establish and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality standards are maintained and to strive for continuous improvement at all times.
- Effectively manage home staff through coaching, mentoring and personal development.
- Assess and maintain the correct number of staff through robust rostering.
- To maintain firm budgetary control within the home through regular monitoring of expenditure.
- Provide reports and updates on the home's performance and development.
- Optimise operational efficiency and cost effectiveness within the home.
- Actively market the home and promote a positive personal and professional profile within the local community.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate training in all aspects of their work.
- Health and safety, infection control, administration of drugs.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements.
