Client Services Director-New Business Director-Business Development Director

Day to day you will

The CSD will be the responsible to ensure successful delivery of these solutions within the accounts they support across UK and will also work with the digital's agency Practice leads to identify new service offerings and then work in conjunction with these experts to develop these offers and bring them to market. The role will carry bookings, revenue and margin goal for the territory assigned. 

You'll have

Proven new business development skills
Proven negotiating skills and an ability to work to achieve a win-win agreement in commercial dealings. 
The ability to create well structured and compelling propositions to prospects/customers business requirements. 
Well developed listening and diagnostic skills which have been developed in a software solutions arena 
Proven team leadership skills especially in disperse multi-discipline Matrix team environments 
A natural compulsion to close business and create new opportunities in dealings with prospects and customers alike. 
A strong appreciation for design and the software development life cycle and how software development projects are managed to successful delivery. 
Experience of scoping digital design projects delivered in an Agile manner. 
Proven delivery management experience in engagements in excess of GBP1m worth of services delivery and teams of 5 or more resources. 
Knowledge of the Digital Agency marketplace, current trends and business offerings. 
Experience of selling projects (and understanding of the technologies behind them) of the following types: Mobile applications (phone and tablet), Websites, CMS solutions, Rich Internet applications, Complex business applications and Portals 

Ideal candidates are expected to have the following experience: 
Demonstrable experience of generating own leads. 
Demonstrable experience of generating new business and closing services based deals in the digital project arena. 
Demonstrable experience of closing repeat business with clients. 
Experience of negotiating complex services agreements and delivery schedules is a must as is a keen eye for risk and the management there of from a project and commercial perspective. 
Owning the delivery of business critical digital projects either as part of an internal team or as an external supplier representative 
Team leadership and managing virtual teams within a Matrix management environment. 
Digital agency experience of conceiving and delivering proposals and pitches. 
Spent time in a software development arena with an appreciation of what is required to deliver high quality commercial software applications.
