Supplier Development Leader

We're recruiting an experienced Supplier Development Lead in Derby to work within our Procurement and Supply Change Management division.

You will be responsible for the development of strategic supplier relationships with identified business critical suppliers promoting a transparent and co-operative supplier engagement through a profession SRM process

Key skills and experience

• Category Management experience
• Experience of developing strategic relationship with the right supplier hierarchy
• Experience of developing SRM with strategic suppliers
• Experience of dealing with Global suppliers
• Experience of negotiating Terms and Conditions and building robust supplier Frameworks
• Ability to develop relationships with suppliers to maximise quality performance and operational/cost efficiency
• Broad understanding of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
• Professionally qualified. Mech. Eng or related business agree or CIPS qualification is required
