Full time (37½ hours per week)

Our client, based near Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire, comprises a School, College and Care Home providing specialist services for people with severe epilepsy, associated neurological disorders and other complex medical conditions. The Centre established in 1903 and administered by The Daughters of the Cross of Liege, employs in the region of 640 permanent and over 100 bank Staff in variety of roles and professions providing care, learning, leisure and work opportunities to vulnerable people of all ages.

We are looking for a Payroll Officer who will be responsible for processing two monthly payrolls for around 700 staff in total.

The role will require you to have previous data processing experience including inputting data into a computerised database. Ideally you will have previous payroll experience. You must have strong Excel skills and the ability to calculate payments and deductions. The post holder will need to demonstrate quick and accurate keyboard skills and be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, self motivated and have a proactive approach to problem solving.
