This is an outstanding opportunity to join a young and heavily backed organisation, getting involved at the initial stages of building, what will be, an industry leading product. The team that is in place so far has already been responsible for delivering a number of award winning agile propositions and this role will be responsible for owning and leading the Server Side Development to support the organisations core offerings on web and mobile devices (predominantly iOS). Reporting directly to the CTO you will need to have strong experience in building multi-tier architecture from scratch, ensuring that the .NET stack can support world-class applications. You will need extensive hands on experience of .NET development in C#, Microsoft SQL Server and associated technologies and an ability to step in and make critical decisions to code output. You must have solid knowledge of database design, data warehousing and architecting componentised and maintainable multi tier systems, integrating external services and managing API consumption. You should be an expert in test oriented development and supporting automation tooling as well as having in depth experience of source management. Experience with Azure as well as knowledge of developing for mobile applications would also be highly desirable.
