ID Medical is currently seeking a Band 6/7 Mammographer for an immediate placement within a valued NHS Trust in Nottinghamshire.
A dynamic individual is needed to provide a high standard of care to patients. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously, as well as within a multi-disciplinary team. The role requires you to be highly skilled with a minimum of 1 year experience as a Band 6 Mammography with experience working in the community.

Working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the position requires an experienced Mammographer who is able to demonstrate confidence, initiative and an excellent work ethic.
Core duties for this position would include:
* Providing diagnosis and treatment for all categories of patient in the department.
* Applying specialist knowledge and skills across a range of impairments, procedures and practices gained through practical experience, underpinned by theoretical knowledge.
* Have a continuing responsibility for the care of patients and the functioning of the department.
* To provide safe and effective care of patients.
* To actively participate in staff meetings, forums and development programmes in order to support development of service and maintenance of high quality care.
* Keep up to date with clinical and professional developments in nursing and to undertake continuing professional development.
Requirements:
* Mammography Certificate
* Minimum 2 years NHS experience
* Valid HCPC registration
* Current CRB/DBS
