Operations/Procurement Manager

Working as an Operations Manager you will be responsible for;

Leading the operational function of the company;
*To manage and maintain existing supply chain relationships
*Working with the development team to source new suppliers/products in line with their requirements
*Review existing supplier agreements to ensure best value price and ensure the same best practice is applied to new suppliers
*Provide suggestion for supplier or product alternations based on market knowledge
*Monitor and manage supplier performance
*Updating and maintaining reorder levels

Person Spec

*Experience of working in a similar role with a strong purchasing background
*A proven track record of lowing cost base and improving supplier deliverable in a similar environment
*A professional, influential and flexible work attitude
*Excellent negotiations skills
*Experience of close working relationships with internal and external customers
*Experience in the implementation of Supplier agreements and assessments
*Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
*Good problem solving skills
*Strong financial awareness and analytical skills
