Business Support Analyst - Various Locations

Location:Manchester or Wolverhampton

The UK Information Systems team is responsible for supporting Brammer UK, Buck & Hickman, Brammer Ireland, Brammer Iceland and Norway. An exciting new position has become available to help support the branch network in the use and improvement of the K8 Trading system.

Reporting into the Business Support Manager, this is an opportunity to join the Information Systems department as a Business Support Analyst, with a primary focus on branch processes and systems.

This is a role with varied responsibilities from systems support to requirements analysis and supporting projects to successful delivery; the ideal candidate will have an experience working in a Branch role using the K8 or Rev7 Trading systems. The candidate will be used to working alone or as part of a team and will have strong analytical skills. Additional training will be provided to ensure that the right person has the advanced K8 knowledge needed to support the business.

Primary Job Function:

To provide support for K8, with a primary focus on Branch processes, to the combined UK businesses and to work with relevant business, Information Systems and third party teams to analyse and improve processes through better use of, or changes, to software systems.

This will include the following:

Skills/Experience Required:

•     Experience in a Branch role

•     Experience using the K8 ERP or Rev7 Trading systems

•     Strong Analytical skills

•     Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.

•     Must be able to work effectively as a team member.

•     Confident and professional work ethic

•     Ability to plan and carry out work when regularly unsupervised

•     Project management knowledge beneficial
