Warehouse Operative

This high quality thread manufacturer is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative based at their site in Ashton-Under-Lyne.

This is a varied role tasks requiring flexibility in order to meet required production levels. A wide range of activities which involves some heavy lifting, picking and packing orders and loading/unloading lorries. The applicant will be required to demonstrate reliability, diligence and conscientious working within a production environment.

Duties to Include:

- Picking & packing of orders
- Loading & unloading of lorries and containers
- Stock Monitoring
- Receipting Goods In
- Despatching Goods Out
- All other warehouse related duties
- Half yearly & Annual stock counts

Requirements:

- Counterbalance Forklift License
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Good Time keeping
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- SAP experience is desirable but not essential
- Enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility
- Professional and motivated Approach

Hours of work will be 9:00am until 6:00pm Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Friday.

Starting salary will be £7.05 per hour. This will be reviewed on successful completion of a 3 months probationary period.
