Rakelands supports up to 14individuals with learning and physical disabilities, additional complex needs and sensory impairments. The service employs qualified nursing staff and has an onsite physiotherapy unit, hydrotherapy pool, day service, sensory room and sensory garden. Rakelands is a large detached house set in its own extensive and well maintained grounds on the West Sussex and Hampshire borders, just north of Petersfield. Accessible vehicles enable people to access community facilities and day trips on a regular basis.

As the Registered RGN qualified Manager, you will develop the staff team enabling the individuals they support to reach their full potential. Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working as part of a wider team of Home Managers, you will seek to ensure the highest standards of support are delivered in the service. You will be passionate about developing systems within the home and keen to further expand the provision they provide to those in the community through our client's Options scheme.

Financially astute and exceptionally organised, you will join us with a Registered Managers Award plus an NVQ4/SVQ4 in Health and Social Care or Leadership and Management or possess an NVQ3/SVQ3 in Health and Social Care and be eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.You will certainly be experienced in care management and will possess excellent knowledge of Care Standards, Regulations and Valuing People. Above all, you should be as approachable, as reliable and as dedicated as they are, and you’ll be poised to hit the ground ‘sprinting’.
