Web Designer

Award winning Peterborough based company is seeking a multi skilled web designer to drive the development of its own multiple websites.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role will be responsible for producing all collateral for the websites, in addition to populating the websites with new products, and making design theme changes.

This is an all round role encompassing both front end design work, in addition to back end development of code etc, and also graphical content and product imagery.

Duties will include:

- Website and webpage design, coding and implementation
- From scratch designs as well as website maintenance
- Wordpress and Woo commerce website design
- Digital asset creation including banners, sliders, landing pages, product images etc.
- Image retouching
- Email campaign design and implementation (Mailchimp)
- Maintaining eCommerce product database and ensuring accuracy
- Logo design
- Product mock ups and visualizations
- Editing and publishing video footage of product demonstrations

Skills Required:

- High level design skills from brief through to end product
- Time and project management
- Excellent Adobe Suite knowledge inc. Photoshop, Illustrator
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure
- Wordpress theme design experience
- PHP, HTML5, WORDPRESS, Woocommerce, CSS

Additional Skills and Experience an Advantage (but not essential)

- 3D design (3DS Max)
- Video editing and publishing
