As a Sales Manager, your Key Objectives will be: To develop and agree sales plans and budgets, including new cars, accessories, used cars, overheads and all related items

To achieve marketing, sales and financial targets, including Manufacturer New Vehicle Purchasing Agreement

To organise, direct and control the activities of Sales staff and administrative support to achieve plans and budgets, ensuring optimum use of all material, financial and personnel resources

Gordon Lamb Limited is a family owned motor group and was first established in 1953. Today, the Company represent four new car franchises and operate five dealerships including three franchised service centres.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Skoda sales team in Chesterfield. Reporting to the General Manager, your primary responsibility will be to maximise the sales and profitability of vehicles and associated products and achieving outstanding customer satisfaction.

You'll be responsible for developing, managing and refining new and used vehicle sales policies, ensuring the optimum stock of vehicles and assisting the General Sales Manager in maintaining franchise operational standards.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the retail motor industry to a high level and ideally will have worked within the Volkswagen Group. You should also have exceptional sales and marketing skills. You must have knowledge of modern business methods within a franchise dealership whilst having a successful track record of coaching and mentoring successful sales teams. Excellent IT skills are essential and a knowledge of Kerridge would be an advantage.
